  GLOBAL YOUTH & POSITIVE INITIATORS (GYPEI) is AN EMPOWERMENT Youth not-profit organization that is involved in information dissemination on various important issues facing the youth in Nigeria. GYPEI is an international non-governmental youth organisations to represent the interests of young people .We serves to channel the flow of positive information and opinions within the young people.

Established in 2006, GYPEI is to mainly give young people culturally, socially and educationally relevant information that will transform their life.

Our Mission
The mission of our organization is to develop and share programs that promote positive orientation and behaviour among the global youth.

To engage in any positive project that will touch even a life positively, trough sport, education, socio-cultural and economical project.

GYPEI works to empower young people to actively participate in the shaping of Africa and the society in which they live, by providing them with opportunities to realize their full potential through any possible and healthy means.

To lead Africa in ensuring every youth has the opportunity to succeed in life.

Vision
Its vision is to have positively empowered young people that believe in and honour the uniqueness, dignity and inherent worth themselves. A Youth that embrace innovation, flexibility, reflection, continuous improvement and AIDS free society.
We also work to create a proper atmosphere for youth entrepreneurial development.

Objectives
• To channel youthful initiative to realities
• To build leadership qualities and organize responsibilities among youth
• To create international youth network at all levels
• To involve teens in their neighbourhood programs
• To help youth discover and develop their own potential
• To participate actively in politics
• To raise youth awareness to AIDS and other related diseases
• To organize free time forums for youth
• To raise the role and participation of young people in state’s economical and social life
• To enlarge and develop the youth movement.
• To create appropriate conditions for young people’s self-expression.

Activities
• Training sessions and Seminars on different educational topics
• Resource centres
• Talk show on health education.( drama and other activities takes place too)
• International, national and local level of youth initiatives
• Organising conferences, meetings, training courses and seminars on various subjects, mainly for students, but with participation of representatives from the world of politics, economy and culture health, education and even sports
• Working for integration of the young generation in Africa and Nigeria
• Enabling young people to make new contacts and relations among organisations across the globe
• To enlarge the integration to African Youth Community
• To promote youth exchanges and intercultural integration
• To implement projects and call meetings within the Youth Program
• To provide wide participation of Nigerian Youth in the several meetings of the Youth Program.

Our Beliefs about Working with Youth
Youth come first. The first question is always, "Is it good for kids?"
We believe in partnering with the youth’s organisations that have similar aims or other organisations and the community to ensure the youth's success.

PROJECTS

• GET SURY
This is a project embanked upon to teach and enlighten the youths from 18-30 to entrepreneurial scheme.

• JUST SAY NO!
It is a Sex and Health educational program for young people. Besides the small budget (less than 200$) we managed to carry on this project thanks to many people imagination and the support of the organization.

Before the end of the year we are embarking in some new projects

1) Academics
2) Brainstorming, an Investigative International View and GYPEI project
3) African and Nigerian cultural project
